Preventive Health and Safety Training is offered via Zoom and is designed to meet the 8-hours of California Emergency Medical Authority (EMSA) state licensing requirements for child care.

How often do I need to renew my EMSA certifications?
Preventive Health and Safety: This is typically a one-time requirement for your license. Note: Effective January 1, 2026, all renewals must now include updated instruction on Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine auto-injector use (AB 2317). Our 2026 curriculum is fully updated to include this new state requirement.
